If you hold a concession card or DVA Gold Card, there are government pathways that can reduce or cover the cost of dentures.
NSW ORAL HEALTH FEE FOR SERVICE SCHEME (OHFFSS)
Who qualifies: Holders of a Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card, or Commonwealth Seniors Health Card in NSW.
How it works: You are first assessed at a public dental clinic by a general dentist. If dentures are required, you receive a voucher specifying the treatment. You bring the voucher to a participating clinic like D3 and we carry out the work.
What to expect: OHFFSS fees are set by the government and are significantly below private rates. At D3 Clinic, we provide this as a community service at what is essentially cost-only. The denture provided is a standard, functional product. There are rules around gap payments under this scheme.

DVA DENTAL SERVICES
Who qualifies: DVA Gold Card holders.
What to expect: DVA fee schedules are closer to private rates, which means the scope and quality of service is closer to a standard private consultation. DVA covers denture fabrication, repairs, and relines.

PRIVATE HEALTH FUND: Some policies cover dentures under major dental or prosthodontics benefits. We have HICAPS for on-the-spot claiming.
INTEREST-FREE PLANS: For private patients, we offer flexible interest-free payment plans.
