Denture adhesive (denture glue, paste, or powder) provides temporary hold for dentures that are slightly loose or for situations where extra confidence is needed.

TYPES: Paste/cream (strongest hold), powder (thinner layer), adhesive strips (mess-free).

WHEN ADHESIVE IS REASONABLE: During early adaptation to new dentures. For occasional social confidence. While waiting for a scheduled reline.

WHEN ADHESIVE IS A RED FLAG: If you need it every day just to eat or speak, your dentures do not fit. Adhesive is not a solution for poor fit — it is a temporary workaround. The correct fix is a reline, adjustment, or new denture.

If you are going through adhesive regularly, contact us for a fit assessment. The problem is almost certainly solvable.
